Pastor Markus is ordained with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. He is married to Pastor Bambi Huyssen and together they have four sons, Lawrence, Austin, Joshua and Tristan. 

 

Pastor Markus has been in pastoral ministry since 1991 and served as a missionary to the Philippines and the Far East for 18 years, where he worked  to plant churches, mentor pastors, win souls, and disciple believers. In 2003 he began conducting training Schools for pastors throughout the region.  In 2012 God called him and his family to the Lehigh Valley, where he has been doing pastoral ministry and ministering to the body of Christ. He joined the team of The Healing Place in 2021.

 

He holds a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Studies, and has accomplished two years of course work towards a PhD in Biblical Studies. He has been involved in Pastoral work since 1992 and spent 10 years as faculty member and later as the dean of Foursquare Bible college in Manila, Philippines.
